Privacy and analytics

Optional analytics is off until you choose Accept analytics. You can read every guide and download the checklist without accepting.

Your choice

Accept and Decline are available in the analytics panel. Use Analytics choices in the footer to change your decision. Your preference is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. Clearing browser storage or using another browser may show the choice again. If JavaScript is disabled, our analytics does not run.

When you accept

Google Analytics measures visits to published pages, basic engagement, and clicks on our One Stop Telecom recommendations. For those clicks, we send the published guide path and a fixed service category, not the destination URL, link text, or details entered on another website. A click does not tell us whether you contacted the provider or became a customer. Google receives cookie identifiers, browser and device information, and your IP address as part of the connection. We send the published page URL and title, with query strings, fragments and referring-page details excluded from our page-view configuration. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag.

We do not configure form tracking, user IDs, advertising audiences or session replay. Enhanced measurement is disabled for this analytics stream. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 180 days without extending that expiry on each visit.

Changing your mind

Declining stops our analytics loader. If analytics has already loaded, changing to Decline disables collection, removes available first-party Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page without the tag. Requests already sent cannot be recalled, and changing this browser preference does not delete data Google has already received.
